I went to Lassale auto with a prediagnosis, the check engine light was on, caused from an vacuum leak in the fuel tank filler tube, Lasalle auto acquired a used filler tube, at what I considered an exorbitant price, the service tech installed the part, now I'm $600 poorer, the check engine light is still on, and I have a fuel leak that I didn't have on my first visit
Hello Harlie Just to recap what exactly happened you did not pay us any diagnosis for any engine light concern. You bought a southern fuel Neck assembly and yes they do get expensive. And we installed the filler neck for you and notified you that everything was quite rusty. There was hardly any fuel in your vehicle when you came in. You could not add fuel with your fuel filler neck because it would just run out and you see the pictures of that. We brought you back at no charge to reinspect to make sure everything was hooked up and everything was in good shape, unfortunately your fuel tank is leaking at the top and needs to be replaced. you and I discussed a few different options and I will reach out to you to review.
